Questions
Will this make Claude worse at code?
No. Every format here carries keep-coding-instructions: true, so Claude keeps its coding behaviour and only changes how it talks to you. Paths, commands and file names stay exact.
Do I need a paid plan?
No. Output formats and skills are files on your machine. They cost nothing and work on any plan.
Does this only work on Claude?
The folder paths are Claude Code. The instructions inside are plain English, so the same text works as a system prompt on any model. Option 3 covers that.
