Free build guide

The AI OS Blueprint

The exact folder and step-by-step guide to build your own AI OS. Two free apps, one starter folder you clone, and the same skills I use to spin up a working OS in about 20 minutes. Stop collecting tools, build one system you own.

The whole build, written down

Every step from the video on one page you can follow at your own pace. Get the two tools, clone the folder, run one skill, and watch your first OS build itself.

The starter folder, ready to clone

The same cockpit I build on: the FRAME skeleton, the build-os skill, and the obsidian-view skill, all wired up. You download it, you own it, you extend it.

Build one part today, not someday

You open two apps, paste one command, and answer a few questions. In about 20 minutes you have a real, working part of your business, not another tab.

What's inside

  • The starter cockpit folder, cloned from GitHub in one click, yours to keep and edit
  • Step by step: get an IDE, get Claude, open the folder, build your first OS
  • The two exact commands I use: /build-os to create it, /obsidian-view to see it
  • The FRAME method, so your OS survives every model change instead of breaking on it
  • The five layers: how to go from doing it by hand to a full hand-off, without making slop
  • The full walkthrough video, embedded right here to follow along part by part

Questions

Do I need to be technical?

No. If you can install an app and paste one line, you can do this. The folder and the skills do the technical part, you just answer questions in plain English.

Do I have to pay for anything?

The IDE (VSCode or Cursor) and the starter folder are free. You do need a Claude account to run the agent, and a paid plan gets you the most out of it, but you can start and see the whole shape for free.

Do I have to use Obsidian and Claude?

Those are the two I run and the guide is written for them. The structure transfers to other stacks, the model is a swappable slot on purpose. Start with these, swap later if you want.

Is this really free?

Yes. Drop your email and it is yours, and a copy lands in your inbox so you keep it.
