What does it cost to run?
The kit is free. Generation is pay-as-you-go on KIE, roughly $5 to $15 per ad. Nothing to subscribe to.
Do I need to code?
No. Cowork is drag-and-drop plus chat. Claude Code is there if you prefer the CLI.
Will it go out of date?
That is the point of an OS. You swap the models as they improve, and the wiring stays.
