Free install guide
The 7 top free GitHub repos every Claude user should use.

It plans before it codes
superpowers asks what you are actually trying to do, writes the spec with you, then builds test first. mattpocock/skills adds the engineering flows on top.
It stops overbuilding
ponytail makes Claude think like the laziest senior engineer in the room. The best code is the code it never wrote.
It reaches further
Anthropic's own skills for documents and design, treg for tools you pay per call, HyperFrames for video from HTML, and Nami to run every agent from one desk.
Do I need to be a developer?
No. Five of the seven install by pasting one or two lines inside Claude Code. HyperFrames is one npx command in a terminal. Nami is a download you drag into Applications.
Are these made by Anthropic?
One is. The skills repo is Anthropic's own. The other six are open-source projects by Matt Pocock, Jesse Vincent, Dietrich Gebert, Jason Zhou's team at superdesign, HeyGen, and Dainami AI. All seven are public and linked here.
Will these cost me anything later?
No. They are open-source repos, not services. The one exception is treg, which bills a fraction of a cent per call when your agent uses a tool on treg's key, and it shows you the price first.
